グループ展「Constructing Utopia」

チェコ・オロモウツの「Galerie XY」にて”ユートピア”をテーマにしたグループ展「Constructing Utopia」を開催します。
ユートピアとは、誰もが幸せになれる想像上の空間である。ユートピアを建設することは不可能だと信じられていることから、この言葉はしばしば非現実的だが崇高なアイデアと結び付けられる。
この展覧会では、ユートピアについて考え、さまざまな未来のモデルを提示するアーティストたちを紹介する。しかしそれは、単に美しい国や都市、あるいは島のような、ある空間についてではない。アーティストたちは、ユートピアをイベント、人工物、テキスト、アイデアの形で示そうとしているのだ。

This exhibition is about utopia. Utopia is an imaginary space where everyone is happy. It is believed that it is impossible to build a utopia. Therefore, this word is often associated with unrealistic, but noble ideas
The exhibition features artists who reflect on utopia. They offer different models of the future. But it is not about some spaces — like a beautiful country, city, or even an island. The artists are trying to show utopia in a different way — in the form of events, artifacts, texts, and ideas.
